Execution protocol

Bank-to-Bank Protocol

Our structured, bank-compliant process ensures full transparency, legal compliance, and direct bank-to-bank execution.

5-Step Bank Instrument Issuance Workflow

From client intake to operative SWIFT delivery

Each step is sequenced and documented, keeping the client, receiving bank, and issuing bank fully aligned.

01
Step 01 • KYC

Client Intake & Compliance (KYC)

Client submits Client Information Sheet (CIS), Corporate Registration, Passport copy, and Bank Capability Letter (BCL). Compliance clears AML checks.

02
Step 02 • DOA

DOA Contract Execution

Rawi Advisory issues the Deed of Agreement (DOA). Both parties sign and execute the legal contract including banking coordinates and fee schedules.

Execute DOA Online
03
Step 03 • MT799

SWIFT MT799 Pre-Advice

The issuing bank transmits an authenticated SWIFT MT799 Pre-Advice to the client's receiving bank confirming readiness to deliver the instrument.

04
Step 04 • MT760

SWIFT MT760 Final Transmission

Upon receiving bank MT799 confirmation, the issuing bank transmits the operative SWIFT MT760 (SBLC/BG) or MT700 (DLC) directly to the beneficiary's account.

05
Step 05 • MT103

Fee Settlement & Verification

Following operative instrument delivery and verification, the applicant's bank executes fee settlement via SWIFT MT103 within five (5) banking days, completing the transaction.

Questions about the protocol

A leased SBLC/BG allows the applicant to use the bank guarantee as collateral or credit backing for a specific term (typically 1 year & 1 day) for an annual leasing fee (around 6%), returning ownership at maturity. A purchased SBLC transfers title/ownership permanently for a higher cost (approx. 42% of face value).

Rawi Advisory acts as an independent intermediary between the applicant and the issuing bank: we qualify the transaction and the client, coordinate the receiving bank's readiness, execute the DOA, and sequence the bank-to-bank SWIFT transmissions (MT799 → MT760/MT700 → MT103). We never take custody of client funds and are compensated solely through the agreed, contractually documented fees.

Yes. Every instrument is transmitted directly between banks over authenticated SWIFT (MT799 pre-advice, then the operative MT760/MT700), so it lands in the receiving bank's own systems. Verification is performed by the beneficiary's bank through its SWIFT department or nostro account, and our desk assists with any verification request.

Six items, all tracked in the checklist above: Client Information Sheet (CIS), Board Resolution, Proof of Business (Corporate Registration), Passport Copy of the Authorized Signatory, Bank Capability Letter / Tear Sheet, and an Executive Summary / Transaction Outline.
